Installed on Arduino Uno Q: super lightweight and works great
Posted by: ArduinoFan - 2026-04-25, 11:50 - Forum: Arduino Uno Q - No Replies

I just finished installing OrbitOS on an Arduino Uno Q setup and it is spectacular.

It feels very lightweight, responsive, and stable.

Everything I tested so far works really well. Great work by the team.

Considering OrbitOS on an industrial Linux board for IEC-61850
Posted by: hexlex - 2026-04-25, 11:45 - Forum: Boards & Devices - Replies (1)

I am considering using this OS on an industrial board that runs Linux, for a project involving IEC-61850 communication.

Main questions:
- real-time behavior under load
- networking stack stability
- long-term update strategy for critical systems

Would like to hear from anyone testing similar industrial scenarios.

Is it possible to run OrbitOS on Raspberry Pi 2?
Posted by: rafa.pi2 - 2026-04-25, 11:43 - Forum: Raspberry Pi 3 - Replies (1)

I have an older Raspberry Pi 2 available for testing. Is it possible to run OrbitOS on it today, or are there architecture limitations?

App request: license plate recognition linked to a relay output
Posted by: marco.vision - 2026-04-25, 11:41 - Forum: App Requests & Suggestions - Replies (1)

It would be fantastic to have an app for automatic license plate recognition connected to a relay output.

Use case: gate/door control where recognized plates trigger a relay action.

If this is on the roadmap, I would be very interested in testing and providing field feedback.

First app deployed in under 30 minutes
Posted by: maya - 2026-04-25, 11:40 - Forum: Tutorials & Examples - No Replies

Just sharing a win: from fresh setup to first app running took less than 30 minutes.

The deployment workflow is simple and confidence-building for beginners.

Big thanks to everyone documenting common pitfalls.

SDK auth best practices for service-to-service calls?
Posted by: Evanildo - 2026-04-25, 11:37 - Forum: SDKs & APIs - Replies (1)

For SDK-based integrations, what auth pattern do you recommend between internal services?

I want something simple for dev, but secure enough for production migration.

Token rotation strategy suggestions are very welcome.
