Considering OrbitOS on an industrial Linux board for IEC-61850 - hexlex - 04-25-2026 I am considering using this OS on an industrial board that runs Linux, for a project involving IEC-61850 communication. Main questions: - real-time behavior under load - networking stack stability - long-term update strategy for critical systems Would like to hear from anyone testing similar industrial scenarios. RE: Considering OrbitOS on an industrial Linux board for IEC-61850 - danopslab - 04-25-2026 Interesting direction. We are also evaluating OrbitOS for industrial edge workloads and protocol-heavy environments. If you publish baseline latency and failover results, that would be very valuable for the community. |
