U4gm Hero Siege Loot Filters for Resistance and Damage
#1
A useful loot filter starts with the character you are playing, not an ideal setup copied from someone else's endgame build. When reviewing Hero Siege Items, focus on the drops that could solve your next progression problem: surviving harder encounters, improving damage, or supporting the skills you actually use.

As you move from Nightmare toward Hell and tougher content, your filter should evolve alongside your equipment. The goal is not simply to display fewer items. It is to keep meaningful opportunities visible while removing distractions that no longer deserve your attention.

Let Your Weakest Slot Set the Rules

Before tightening your filter, inspect your equipment and identify the main reason progress feels slow. Are you taking too much damage, struggling to finish fights, or wearing a piece whose bonuses do little for your build Give that weakness priority.

If resistance is your immediate concern, keep potential defensive replacements visible even when their offensive stats look ordinary. If damage is the issue, focus your review on weapons and equipment with relevant offensive bonuses. A filter should support a specific decision, not merely favor impressive rarity.

Choose two or three upgrade targets at a time. This keeps your search manageable and gives every visible drop a purpose. Once a target is covered, revise the rules instead of continuing to collect equipment for a problem you have already solved.

Tighten Visibility After Progress Feels Stable

During an early difficulty transition, leave room for imperfect upgrades. A replacement does not need every preferred attribute to be useful. Hiding everything except near-perfect combinations can turn an achievable improvement into a long wait.

Become more selective when your character can handle the content you are farming consistently. At that point, narrow visibility around your chosen skills, preferred damage direction, and remaining equipment gaps. Reduce clutter gradually so you can judge what each adjustment removes.

After a substantial equipment change, reassess the filter before another lengthy session. Your priorities may have shifted. The defensive piece you needed yesterday could now be less important than a stronger weapon or a useful skill modifier.

Preserve Room for Future Equipment Plans

Strict filtering should still leave space for crafting plans and realistic alternative builds. Keep suitable crafting candidates visible where the available rules allow it, especially when you already know what you intend to make.

Define those exceptions narrowly. Saving everything for a possible future character defeats the purpose of filtering. Choose a small set of equipment types or attributes connected to a concrete project, then review whether that project still matters.

Whether you farm every upgrade or buy Hero Siege Items for a particular equipment goal, keep your filter aligned with the next meaningful improvement rather than a distant ideal setup.
