U4gm Aion 2 PvP Choosing Healers or Damage Dealers First - Benniehench03 - 2026-10-08

In AION 2 PvP, a higher combat power rating does not automatically produce better decisions. Equipment and Aion 2 Items can support a character's performance, but choosing the right opponent determines whether that strength creates meaningful pressure. When several enemies enter the fight, attacking whoever stands closest can waste your strongest opportunity.

Look Beyond the Closest Opponent

A frontline character may be easy to reach while offering little immediate reward. If that opponent absorbs your attention while a healer operates safely behind them, your damage may accomplish less than the numbers suggest. Accessibility and importance are not the same thing.

Healers deserve attention when your team can reach them together. However, chasing one alone through an enemy formation can leave your teammates exposed. The better target is often the opponent your group can pressure without surrendering its position.

Watch for separation. A ranged damage dealer who moves away from support may become more valuable than a protected healer. Manual selection lets you respond to that opening instead of continuing an attack simply because it has already started.

Let Team Composition Shape the Priority

Against a group with strong healing support, coordinated pressure can force difficult choices. Threatening one player, then moving onto another, may stretch the healer's attention. The goal is not always an immediate defeat; sometimes it is making the enemy spend protection earlier than intended.

Against ranged opponents, positioning matters as much as target identity. Select someone your team can approach together, rather than pursuing a distant attacker while everyone else remains occupied. A theoretically ideal target becomes a poor choice when reaching it breaks your formation.

Assassins present a different problem. When one threatens a vulnerable teammate, switching away from your original opponent can protect your group's damage or healing output. Frontline enemies also become priority targets when they overextend and lose reliable support.

Switch When the Fight Changes

Good target selection is an ongoing judgment, not a decision made only at the opening. Reconsider your target when an enemy retreats, receives protection, or draws your team into an awkward position. Continuing automatically can turn useful pressure into wasted time.

A timely switch can also disturb the opposing team's rhythm. If one player has already committed defensive resources, pressuring another may demand a response before the group has recovered. Communicate the change clearly so teammates do not divide their efforts.

Still, changing targets constantly creates its own problems. Give coordinated pressure enough time to work. Switch because the situation has changed, not merely because another opponent appears within reach.

Character upgrades remain useful, and players considering cheap Aion 2 Items should still remember that equipment cannot choose targets for them. In PvP, recognizing an opening, staying connected to teammates, and redirecting pressure deliberately can matter more than a larger combat power number.
